Ms. Gineca Garriga

Gineca Garriga is excited to serve as the assistant principal for West Hancock Elementary School. In 2015, she graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. In 2019, she earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at William Carey University. Throughout her learning experience at William Carey University, she had the privilege to complete her clinical hours under administrators in the Hancock County School District.
Ms. Garriga is a lifelong resident of Hancock County and a proud graduate of Hancock High School. Her roots and loyalty are planted deep within the Hancock County School District. In the district, Gineca has taught middle school math, high school chemistry and physical science, as well as polymer science at the Hancock County Career Technical Center. She served as a sponsor for Beta Club at Hancock Middle School and for the National Technical Honors Society at the Hancock County Career Technical Center.
As an educator and advocate for students, her goal is to have students receive the best opportunities possible to prepare them for each step of their education, to be provided with an engaging education and a safe environment in which to learn. Ms. Garriga also understands the importance of communication to enhance students’ success. She is excited to kick off the 2024-2025 school year at West Hancock Elementary School. Go Wildcats!
